Peckham Digital Festival of Creative Computing has asked me to organise an antweight event as an attraction for the festival.
Address: Copeland Gallery, Unit 9, Copeland Park, 133 Copeland Road, London, SE15 3SN
Time: 3pm-4pm (arrive 14:30)
Arena: rectangle approx 1m x 50cm, pit at either end. No roof so no spinning or high-energy weapons are allowed.
Format: One robot per person, group stage followed by knockout fights with about 30 fights scheduled in total.
After the tournament, the arena will be moved to a second room for open arena time, where audience members may ask to have a go on robots.
The organisers are sorting a trophy for the tournament winner.
