I spoke to a couple folks and we decided it doesn’t need a locking bar, only sharp edge protection. Unlike a spinner it won’t take off across the room if the weapon touches the floor, so it’s only really dangerous if you put your hand inside it!
I really want to see what would happen if I put my hand in there, though. Maybe a chicken thigh or a pork chop?
