I have been having problems when it come to wiring my bot. No matter what I have tryed it all ways ended up as a tangled mess of wires any ideas how I can stop this.

Buy a few Wago connectors.
A picture of what you currently have is probably helpful. It also matters a bit what class it is as how you’d approach a 150g ant is very different from a beetle, which is in turn different to a feather.
Simplifying your loom, thinking about where you have terminations or joins and points to cable tie are great places to start.
