I have both the BBB Brushless drive kit (including Flysky FS-i6 receiver), and will be getting the 40kg servo, with it’s corresponding ESC too. I noticed that while the kit’s BEC brings the voltage down to 5V, the Servo BEC brings the voltage to 7.4V. Seeming as the receiver maxes out as 6V, how do I use the servo?
A BEC only affects the voltage for whatever is plugged into it, so your 5V BEC will provide power to only your receiver and your 7.4V BEC will provide power to only your servo, as you can see in this image from the store page
Here’s the wiring diagram of the brushless kit, to connect in the servo as wired above, you’ll need to connect the power cables into the main circuit the same way the ESCs and receiver BEC do in this image, then only that yellow wire goes over to the receiver.
Hope that helps a bit!

Yes thank you very much! I hadn’t seen the guide for a while (I don’t even think I was thinking of using a servo last time I checked it!) Hopefully will mean everything is done by October
