A recent design I have been thinking of uses two spinners to gyro its way around the arena, however, I do not know how to programme brushless ESCs. This post is asking if the stock 20A Brushless ESCs are bidirectional.
The spinner esc is single direction. You could reprogram it to be bidirectional or you could instead buy the drive esc version
Just be mindful of the high current spikes from changing direction hard with braking and a high load.
