Bonjour!
My name is Harry and I have a nasty habit of making things. I’m a mechanical engineer with just shy of a decade in R&D, prototyping and 4 years in production. Lacking formal education but it’s gotten me this far.
For context. currently I am a design engineer, contracting for a pretty cool real-world non-robot gig. Downside it’s part time until June. Very flexy very groovy but obviously it’s less than full time dollar so I’m trying to drum up a little work to fill the gaps as best I can.
For those that are unfamiliar with my “style” I have build diaries on this forum and a fairly comprehensive history of my work (warts and all) is available on my Facebook page: Redirecting...
I’m super open to working on most things though my bias is for smaller (Ant-Beetle) robots or individual parts/mechanisms. Happy to work on existing items, retrofitting too. If you have a weird little problem - drop me a line!
Further than just a design if you want something physically built I’m happy to discuss this too! Or just organising manufacturer of parts. I have capability in house and good relationships with machine shops and fabricators I can middle man for.
I work in Solidworks, Inventor, Fusion 360, Advance Steel and Creo but can output in whatever is helpful.
Rates would be price per job, agreed at the outset. I can do hourly rate but chances are it’ll be significantly higher. Drop me a message here, on my FB page or personal. Open to anything currently.
Thank you for reading!
