The reciever is getting burning hot when I start the circuit I am not using the switch and the battery port on the esc is getting really hot as well. It is the ant weight kit I got on the shop with a 250mAH 2s 7.4v battery

Just to put the same here:
Could be an issue with the ESC’s BEC. But it would be great to get a photo of your circuit to check everything is plugged in correctly.
