Hi, Has anyone “successfully” reduced the length of the Repeat 2004 Antweight Spinner Brushless Motor output shaft? I want to reduce the length by about 5mm but cutting with a Dremel could end up with a lot of heat. I don’t want to right the motor off !
Unless you’re going to cut it with a plasma torch there is no way you’ll get it hot enough to damage it.
Grind away. Just put some tape over the holes so you don’t fill the magnets up with grinding dust.
