Definitely don’t need anything super high end these days! Anything running opentx (eg the relatively inexpensive radiomaster zorro) could be set up to invert a channel with a switch.
I’m currently using the flysky fs-i6 would that do the job?
Afraid not, the i6 doesn’t run OpenTX. One of the more affordable options is the Radiomaster Zorro but it’s a large amount of money to spend on a transmitter for non-essential/nice-to-have functions when you already have an i6.
looks like there may have been an attempt to put OpenTX on the FS i6
May need some digging to see if it’s actaully doable.
There is another alternative FW for the FS i6, ERFly6
