Tomb pebble, just a cute little guy

Soldering went smoothly - maybe a little bit too smoothly for a first time spinner? Just stared at the whole thing for a while and I figured out I can fit the be1806 on perfectly. Might print a be1806 lid and 2mm bearing plates (why not?)

Tomb pebble is now all baked up! Now it just needs a new bl esc, some M2. 5 screws and a metal ruler for the blade (the one shown earlier doesn’t mount on to the old 2204). I tried a spin up test (Without the blade of course)and it spun… Kind of not full power?
Of course as usual I have no idea of what is going on but I presume its the esc’s fault.

Enjoy some juicy pics of bot.

It’s kind of done! The drive is as fast as I’d ever want (maybe too fast) but I’m still working on the bl esc, I’ll probably replace it with a reprogrammed bbb esc and/or reprogram it myself and read the excruciatingly long manual about beeps. The motor does spin, but it beeps and re arms every spin, so other than that…
It’s kinda fine!!

I have another one of the escs (not the bbb one yet) and it works okay. I might replace it with the bbb one later but for now it’ll do. I realised that I had flipping melted a chip on the old one but never mind.
It works good anyway and the drive is all good and well, despite being a bit nippy.

Just divided another poor ruler into 3 and TP now has blades! Marked out a mounting template and then drilled out the holes for the shaft and screws. The bottom plate might need a bit of a redesign as the motor and bearing are not perfectly aligned, but now I have the weapon setup pretty much done (except for the bbb esc)!

Worth mentioning that bar is probably unbalanced due to the bolt placement. Putting them both on the centreline of the bar would be preferable but if that isn’t the case

Something like this would be at least equal and opposite, stronger and actually balanced.

yeah thats what i was thinking, I havent done any spin ups yet so When i do I’ll fix that if it’s a problem

My other 2204 has a balanced pattern but A few snapped coil wires so i might just remove the motor bell and transplant it onto the old 2204’s base

have any of you got tips to remove the bell? I can do it on the new 2204 but the old one has stronger magnets (maybe) and there does not seem to be another catch (like the circlip) to stop it
